Step 1: Benchmark

We answer the question: What does success look like? During the assessment phase we will:

Step 2: Leading by Example

For the executive, and assistant, in charge of the PTPS project we will conduct and 8-Hour Miracle. After one day, this executive will enjoy the benefits of working in a productive environment. With that newfound knowledge, this executive joins the Mise En Place team, acting in an emissary role, for introducing the PTPS to remaining department members.

Step 3: Getting Started Seminar

The department will be introduced to the PTPS Program during this 3 hour kickoff session. We’ll start first with an introduction from the executive who has already experienced an 8-Hour Miracle. Next, Ann Michael will conduct training on The GO System, a proven, step-by-step process to help people get organized and stay organized. Attendees will:

Improve their ability to focus and concentrate
Gain more control over their workload
Easily and quickly prioritize their workload
Get more done in less time
Increase their contribution to the bottom-line results of your organization

We will end the session by outlining the “next steps”.

Step 4: File Clean-out Day

The 80/20 rule applies to just about everything in life, and paper is no exception. Research shows nearly 80% of the information we store is never used. Think of the square footage that is storing this paper tiger; now think of less square footage and the impact that would have on your bottom line. We have fun during office clean out day with contests, food and camaraderie.

Step 5: “Productivity in Motion” Seminar

During this two hour seminar, Ann Michael teach employees how to integrate The Paper Tiger, The GO System and other tools, as determined by the initial assessment, to create their own productive environment. Employees will benefit from better communication, improved time management, and easier resource sharing.

Step 6: Productivity in Motion Implementation

Ann Michael and her team of consultants will spend between 2 to 4 hours with each employee to implement the company’s productivity solution. This step is crucial to the success of the program as it allow each employee to immediately implement the program and gets the entire department “on the same page” quickly and efficiently. Files created during this process will be networked to ensure easy access to departmental information. Security procedures will be put in place to insure privacy where needed. The one-on-one time with a Mise En Place consultant affords employees the opportunity for personal coaching on the productivity solution or any organizing issues they may have. Your company’s investment in this type of employee support and training will not go unnoticed by your employees.

Step 7: Evaluation

Approximately 90 days after full implementation of the PTPS and your company’s productivity solution, Ann Michael will communicate with, or meet with, program participants to evaluate the success of the program. Once the information is gathered, the results will be communicated to the management team. At this time, any challenges that remain will be addressed and resolved.

How long will the PTPS program take?

The answer to that question depends on the size of the department or organization. Generally, the project can be completed within 30 days. We meet with employees at various time throughout the implement of the program with total time per employee averaging two days.
